Meet the Farmers of Just Tillin'!

Step into the fields of Texas, where hard work and a bit of mischief bring cereal grains to life. Each farmer in Just Tillin' brings a unique personality and expertise to the table (and the field!). From wheat to milo, they tend to their grains with pride, grit, and a shared love of the land.

Among them is Orman Eagle, a Wheat Farmer with a deep connection to the roots of Texas farming, inspired by our own family legacy. Orman embodies the spirit that inspired Just Tillin'—dedicated, a bit stubborn, and always ready to lend a hand. Alongside him are seven other farmers, each with their own quirks, strengths, and favorite grains: four women specializing in Corn, Milo, Oats, and Millet, and three other men growing Barley, Rice, and Rye. Together, they face the ups and downs of rural life with heart and humor, even if that means dropping the occasional rock in a neighbor’s field just for fun!

Get to know the Just Tillin' farmers and prepare for some friendly competition as you work to master the fields and harvest your way to victory!

Inspired by the strong, steady presence of our Papa Kent, Orman embodies the resilience, dedication, and grit of a true Texan farmer. His hands may be weathered, but his heart is pure gold—just like the wheat he works tirelessly to grow.

In Just Tillin', Orman brings his skill and steady approach to the field, making sure his wheat harvest is as rich as the memories we hold of Papa Kent and all the lessons he passed down. Stay tuned as we reveal more about the farmers bringing this game to life—each with their own unique story and roots in the Texas fields!

Born and raised on a milo farm, Merry’s life has been a testament to resilience and dedication. With hands seasoned from years of farming and a gentle wisdom she’s carried from a young age, Merry has always poured her heart into her work. Her fields reflect the love and care she brings, each crop a tribute to her strength and spirit. Her daughters carry on her legacy, honoring a mother who gave her all to both her family and her fields.

Margot picked millet because of its small size but mighty yield. Her neighbors doubted the crop, but she proved them wrong by producing bumper crops in poor soil. She’s known for being a bit of an underdog—small, scrappy, and always surprising people.

With lines of experience etched into his face and hands calloused from years of hard work, Rhett is as sturdy as the rye he grows. A man of few words but endless wisdom, he knows every trick in the book when it comes to coaxing strong, healthy crops from even the toughest patches of soil. His

no-nonsense approach and relentless work ethic keep the rye fields thriving season after season.

Rhett’s got a deep respect for the land and a quiet pride in the craft of farming. Stay tuned to hear more about his rye-growing techniques and how he keeps the younger farmers on their toes!

Reed’s calm, focused approach to farming makes him a master of the rice paddies. Known for his patience and a quiet dedication, Reed has perfected the art of growing rice, carefully tending to each stage from seed to harvest. His love for the land runs deep, and his fellow farmers respect his wisdom and steady presence in the fields.

Olive may be petite, but she's tough as Texas soil and knows how to handle every oat stalk in her fields. With a deep love for the land and a gentle spirit, Olive brings a special kind of care to her crops, making her oats some of the finest around. Whether she's tending to the fields or sharing stories with her fellow farmers, Olive's kindness and dedication shine through.

Olive’s known for her morning oatmeal ritual, which she claims gives her “oat wisdom.” Raised on a farm where oats were the staple, she believes they’re the healthiest crop, and she encourages everyone to give em a go!

With a bright smile and an even brighter passion for farming, Cora’s cornfields are a true labor of love. Known for her hands-on approach and a heart as big as Texas, she’s always out in the fields early, nurturing each stalk from sprout to harvest. Cora believes that a strong crop starts with a farmer who truly cares, and it shows in the golden rows of corn that stand tall under her watch.

Benny is known for his old-school approach to farming and his talent for turning his harvest into a fine, traditional barley ale. With a hearty laugh and a knack for storytelling, Benny brings both skill and spirit to his fields. He treats each barley stalk with care, knowing it’s destined for something special. When he’s not working the fields, you can find him perfecting his brew, sharing a sip and a story with anyone who stops by.
